How I Tutor Maths

My Tutoring approach

During my 9-year tutoring, I have had wonderful learners, and have cherished the adventure of constantly obtaining innovative ideas of treatment to a subject matter to make it engaging and pleasurable for the child I tutor.

My teaching method

The teaching ideology of mine is focused on a learner: my desire is always to create an encouraging, friendly and inspiring atmosphere for learning the ways to progress.
I react dynamically to the needs of each and every person I teach, shaping my training style so that it fully complies with their persona and capabilities.

When they're working on practical things connected to their education, I assume that children learn most deeply. This denotes using games, writing tasks, drawing pictures, making rhymes, presentations, and other types of collaboration, that keeps students active and inspired when it comes to the material.

I explain proficiently and thoroughly, easily investigating places for recovery, then applying simple pattern spotting systems (if necessary). I focus on setting up simple tasks for the child make their special understanding of the content. It is a big satisfaction to find interesting and new methods of presenting the material so that it is always fresh and interesting for both sides.

The psychology of tutoring mathematics

With the help of humour, encouragement, and patience, I constantly make every effort to teach my students that they are capable of much more than they know.
I suppose that my desire to match teaching approaches in compliance with the goals of learners, subject matter, and student demographics are all serious for me to be successful as a mentor.
My teaching is based on the view that the only way to learn maths is to do maths. While the theoretical material is important, the real understanding comes through personal experience at solving mathematical issues, either theoretical, computational, or both.
I have also discovered that creating tasks that directly relate to the learner's personal life can facilitate their learning the theme and understanding its usage.

My interests

A hobby which I chase is stamp collecting. I have collected hundreds of stamps. It is a pleasure to exchange stamps. I have arranged them in six albums according to the continents. My father who often goes abroad helps me to collect rare stamps. Each stamp has a story to tell of distant land, odd peoples and the history of societies. I have made many friends in India and abroad by trading stamps. Digital photography is another hobby which is dear to my heart. It gives me a thrill to capture the visual beauty of the world all around me. Whenever I see a beautiful flower or a bird in my garden, I catch her in my memory through the lense of my camera.

About Myself

I definitely love maths and am really thrilled regarding the chance to teach it. The usefulness of it and the significant range of applications mathematics has is fairly shocking - the more you learn the more you see just how broad the applications of mathematics are.
